Welcome to our exciting world of Tillandsias! We are Air Plants World, a nursery dedicated to cultivating and distributing these fascinating and unique plants on a global scale. With a deep love for nature and a devotion to exotic beauty, we’ve established our nursery with the aim of sharing the magic of Tillandsias with the entire world.
Our story began in 1997, as an initiative to promote the native Tillandsias of Guatemala, because these beauties are in danger of extinction. The project began with the reproduction of Tillandsias Xerographicas, also known as “King of Airplants”. Inspired by their resilience and their astonishing ability to thrive without soil, we embarked on the task of sustainably and responsibly cultivating these plants.
From the beginning, Trinacria Co has been a family business, which has grown on the basis of its own experiences, because there is few literature and not accurate records of how to produce these unique plants here in Guatemala.
Currently we had reached a 100% optimization of the production line of these epiphytes, always surpassing day to day after all.
At the heart of our nursery beats an unwavering passion for nature and its diversity. We believe in the importance of connecting with the Earth and appreciating the natural beauty that surrounds us. Tillandsias, also known as “air plants,” embody this connection. Growing on branches, rocks, and various substrates, these plants remind us of the remarkable adaptability of plant life.
